Akanat Ariyaritwikul, now nicknamed “Nott Kraab Rot”, makes a wai as he arrives to make a formal public apology at Yannawa police station on Monday. He had made it clear to the police investigator that he did not want to pursue legal action against Mr Kittisak. However, Mr Akanat claimed he had not laid any complaint against Mr Kittisak in the first place. Responding to the reporters’ questions Mr Akanat denied he had apologised because of social pressure brought against him. Mr Akanat was initially charged with assault causing injury.
